RALEIGH – flyExclusive Inc. has moved its corporate headquarters from Kinston to One North Hills in Raleigh, bringing more than 120 employees and senior leaders, including Chairman and CEO Jim Segrave, to the new office.
The publicly traded private aviation company opened the space after announcing its Raleigh expansion in January. At that time, flyExclusive said it had nearly 30 Raleigh employees, expected temporary space for about 50 employees by February and planned a permanent office accommodating roughly 125 people by June.
The company said the Raleigh office was intended to help it recruit talent, improve collaboration and support growth. Segrave told Axios that the move is aimed in part at hiring for technology, sales, customer success and finance roles.
Kinston remains a major operating center. flyExclusive said its maintenance, repair and overhaul work, including paint, interiors, avionics and maintenance, would stay at the North Carolina Global TransPark, along with maintenance leadership.
In January, the company also said it was advancing a simulator training center and a 121,000-square-foot hangar project in Kinston and evaluating a second paint booth. Axios reported Sept. 3 that most maintenance and training staff remain in Kinston.
Axios reported flyExclusive generated nearly $376 million in revenue last year and operates hundreds of flights worldwide each day. The company is using AI-driven systems to monitor sales, fuel use, maintenance turnaround and crew locations, and it plans to continue investing in its Contrails scheduling software.
