RALEIGH – Pharr Corporation has acquired the 702 Oberlin office building near Village District through an affiliate for about $24.2 million.
Wake County’s property record now lists Corstorphine Oberlin LLC as the owner of 702 Oberlin Road. The entity’s mailing address is 100 Main Street in McAdenville, the address Pharr lists for its corporate office and its Belmont Land real estate business.
The Sept. 1 deed was recorded in book 20327, page 1308. County data shows $48,450 in excise stamps. North Carolina levies the transfer tax at $1 for each $500 of consideration or value, making the stamps consistent with consideration of about $24.225 million.
Triangle Business Journal reported the acquisition as a $24.2 million purchase and identified Pharr Corporation as the buyer. The county record supplies the related entity name and deed details. The previous owner was Beacon – OR702 LLC, which county records show acquired the property in December 2021.
Beacon Partners describes 702 Oberlin as a four-story office building of about 58,000 square feet directly north of Village District. Wake County lists 2.34 acres and 59,648 square feet of heated area.
JLL said Beacon completed a full building renovation in the second quarter of 2023. Triangle Business Journal described the property as fully leased at the time of the September 2026 sale.
Pharr is a family-owned company based in McAdenville. Its Belmont Land business invests in residential, commercial, hospitality, office and industrial properties.
