RALEIGH – Bank OZK plans to open its first full-service Raleigh branch at 3481 Wake Forest Road and is recruiting employees for the location.
Triangle Business Journal reported Sept. 2 that the Arkansas-based lender is establishing the Raleigh branch as part of a broader push into the Triangle. The bank’s official careers site lists commercial-banking and branch jobs at the Wake Forest Road address.
The recruiting listings include leadership and customer-service roles associated with the planned branch. The bank has not disclosed a total Raleigh job count or a firm opening date.
Bank OZK already operates branches elsewhere in North Carolina. The bank reported 268 offices across nine states and $41.7 billion in total assets as of March 31, 2026.
The Business Journal reported that Bank OZK intends to add other Triangle-area branches, but the reviewed sources did not identify a complete location list or construction timetable.
No capital-investment figure for the Raleigh branch was disclosed.
